
The FSA Training Center is pleased to announce two new training opportunities designed to help financial aid administrators (FAAs) use new FAFSA Partner Portal (FPP) functionality that supports Workforce Pell implementation and real-time fraud detection.
Managing the Enrolled in Eligible Workforce Program Indicator
This course provides an overview of Workforce Pell eligibility requirements and demonstrates when to update the Enrolled in Eligible Workforce Program Indicator to Yes or No based on a student's enrollment status. After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify student eligibility requirements for Workforce Pell
- Determine when to update the Enrolled in Eligible Workforce Program Indicator in FPP
- Update the Enrolled in Eligible Workforce Program Indicator to Yes or No based on a student's enrollment status in a workforce program
FAA Fraud Override
This course explains the real-time fraud detection changes implemented on May 1, 2026, and shows you how to use new FPP tools to review fraud risk information for student applications and corrections. After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Indicate the appropriate FAA Fraud Override value in FPP for a student selected for identity confirmation
- Determine whether student transactions with fraud-related reject and comment codes require FAA action
- Use the Compare functionality in FPP to review multiple FAFSA transactions
- Set an FAA Fraud Override value through a step-by-step system demonstration
