A mid-year transfer student is one who transfers from one school to another school during the same award year. Determining eligibility and packaging Title IV aid for a mid-year transfer student requires careful review and monitoring of prior aid. This review ensures the student does not receive aid in excess of annual limits. The FSA Training Center is pleased to highlight our learning track entitled Administering Aid for Mid-Year Transfer Students.
