Most of the online courses on the FSA Training Center are specific to an award year. This allows you to complete trainings each award year to keep your understanding of the topics current. Your Record of Learning and Certificates of Completion reflect your completion of the trainings for each award year.
We will be removing training courses specific to the 2023–24 award year on August 2 and replacing them with courses for the 2024–25 award year on August 5. What does this mean for you?
- If you are in the middle of FSA Basic Training for New Staff or any one of the Learning Tracks, please finish your work by August 2. Alternatively, you can choose to not complete the 2023–24 training and instead wait for the release of the 2024–25 training. Federal Student Aid has significantly updated the content as well as the look and feel of the 2024–25 training. We are excited for you to see it!
- If you are completing the FSA Coach Fundamentals online course, please note that the last instructor-led workshop of this cycle is scheduled for the week of July 15 and is for credit-hour programs. If you are not planning to attend this workshop, consider waiting to complete the FSA Fundamentals Training Series in the upcoming cycle beginning August 5th instead. Dates for instructor-led workshops for the 2024–25 award year will be announced after August 5.
