Federal Student Aid is pleased to announce two training opportunities.
- We have updated our Top Compliance Findings Learning Track to reflect the latest top ten audit and program review findings issued for Fiscal Year 2022. You will learn common causes and solutions for each finding and complete practical exercises to apply what you have learned to your own school. To access this training, log into the FSA Training Center at fsatraining.ed.gov and select “Learning Tracks” from the black main menu bar and then “School Eligibility.”
- We have developed a training video that explains the borrower defense school notification and adjudication process under 34 CFR § 685.222 (the 2016 Borrower Defense Regulation). It also discusses the separate recoupment process, which includes its own notification and response components, if ED approves applications and seeks to recoup the cost of the discharged loans. To access this training, log into the FSA Training Center at fsatraining.ed.gov and select “Systems Training” from the black main menu bar and then “Borrower Defense.”
