COD Accepted My Record—What's Next?
Have you ever wondered what happens to origination and disbursement records after you transmit them to the Common Origination & Disbursement (COD) system for acceptance? This instructional video answers that question and shines much light on this behind-the-scenes, yet critical, part of the financial aid life cycle. Topics include COD reports, the COD to loan servicer pathway, and the COD to NSLDS pathway as well as the timeframes for these various processes.
To access this training, log into the FSA Training Center at fsatraining.ed.gov and select “Recorded Training” from the black main menu bar and then "Training Videos". Then select “Grants, Loans, and Work-Study” and scroll down to the section labeled “Instructional Videos".
